As the years go by, what happens between your workouts matters more and more alongside the training itself: your nutrition and a consistent recovery routine. Amino Age brings together four amino acids and amino acid compounds in an easy-mixing powder – 11.5 g of active ingredients per serving, with no added sugar.
Amino Age is not a BCAA formula: it contains glycine, taurine, L-citrulline and L-carnosine. The classic BCAAs – leucine, isoleucine and valine – are in Endurance BCAA+, which is designed primarily for longer workouts and races. The two complement each other well.
When we tasted it, we found it mildly sweet-tart – leaning a little more towards the tart side, but not at all strong or unpleasant. Taurine is tart, glycine – the ingredient present in the largest amount – is sweet, and carnosine has no distinctive taste. Glycine and taurine more or less balance each other out, so we only added a little natural flavouring and monk fruit extract.
The three BCAAs – leucine, isoleucine and valine – are in Endurance BCAA+, which is designed primarily for longer workouts and races. Amino Age contains four completely different amino acids and amino acid compounds (see Ingredient Breakdown), which we intended for your daily routine and the post-workout period.
Since they are made for different purposes, you can safely take both – in our view, they complement each other well.
No. We don’t associate any of the four ingredients in Amino Age with weight loss or weight gain, and we don’t attribute any such effect to them.
It doesn’t replace it, but the two complement each other well. The two products contain different nutrients: Mito Caps is a formula based on research into mitochondrial function, while Amino Age is an amino acid complex. We designed our products so that they can also be used together.
Many people ask which of our products is most closely related to the topic of nitric oxide (NO) – in our view, it’s Amino Age. Of its four ingredients, L-citrulline is the best known in this role: in the body it is converted into L-arginine, and L-arginine is the starting material for the formation of nitric oxide. Glycine, taurine and carnosine also feature in research on nitric oxide metabolism.
Yes. It’s perfectly fine to use Amino Age together with Fully Charged and Cherry Bomb HEED, which also contain taurine.
Yes. In a hot drink, the four ingredients of Amino Age remain stable and their active ingredient content doesn’t change.
The ingredients are relatively heat-stable, but we still recommend that you don’t cook or bake with it. You can safely add it to a ready-made warm dish or a hot drink, but prolonged cooking or baking at high temperatures may have an adverse effect on the ingredients.
Yes: vegan, kosher, gluten-free, no added sugar. Its colour comes from beta-carotene and beet juice powder.
Yes. Our supplements are made in accordance with US dietary supplement manufacturing regulations (21 CFR 111): every raw material used is tested for purity, potency, identity and integrity, and checked at every stage of production – blending, encapsulation, packaging materials and finished product – before it is released for sale.
Serving: 1 or more servings daily. Mix 1 scoop (12.2 g) of powder into 250–500 ml of water.
Less water gives a stronger flavour, more water a milder one. It combines well with Hammer Greens, Liquid EndurOmega and Creatine Boost.
Glycine (6000 mg) – One of the 20 amino acids that make up proteins; the body produces it itself, and it is also found in protein-rich foods. It also acts as a neurotransmitter in the central nervous system and is involved in building glutathione. One of the main building blocks of collagen.
Taurine (4000 mg) – One of the most abundant free amino acids in the human body. A sulphur-containing amino acid that the body can produce itself, but that can also be obtained from food. Amino Age can also be used together with Fully Charged and Cherry Bomb HEED, which contain taurine.
L-citrulline (1000 mg) – An amino acid that is converted into L-arginine in the body; L-arginine is the starting material for the formation of nitric oxide (NO). It takes its name from the watermelon (Citrullus), in which it also occurs naturally.
L-carnosine (500 mg) – A dipeptide made up of beta-alanine and L-histidine. It is found in high concentrations in the human brain, muscle tissue and the tissues of the gastrointestinal tract, and is present in all vertebrates.
Natural flavourings, monk fruit extract, beta-carotene, beet juice powder – For the mild flavour and the colour.
